The association Het Groene Anker aims to provide day care for adults with mental and/or multiple disabilities, participate in small-scale agricultural and horticultural activities on the farm, care farm, provide assistance and support to families of adults with mental and/or multiple disabilities, and offer and support training and education.
At the care farm Het Groene Anker, the project is to install benches to promote inclusion. The care farm is aimed at people with disabilities and those with mental health issues, a target group that often feels excluded. The association would like to install several benches on the 4-hectare property, where people can relax together, chat, or simply enjoy the environment, the garden, and the animals. Casual encounters with care guests show that small actions mean a lot to people with disabilities. The association aspires to an inclusive world and encourages visitors to sit on the benches with care guests.
