Since 1915 already, high potentials, leaders and entrepreneurs between the age of 18 and 40 join JCI to improve themselves as well as the world around them. In Flanders, JCI is active in 40 local divisions spread across the five provinces and Brussels. They work together on smart business projects, interesting training courses, community projects, international congresses and, above all, a lot of fun and friendship under the motto ‘Be Better™’. JCI is an organisation that encourages its members to personal growth and local initiative.

Unemployment is a global problem that particularly hits young people. Since the crisis in 2008, youth unemployment systematically increased in Europe, up to 20.0% in 2016 and even 22.6% in Belgium (source: http://www.steunpuntwerk.be). With the (Y)our Future movement, JCI took the initiative to do something about this. On 18 March 2017, the third (Y)our Future event will take place in Gent. During this event, over 200 young people will receive training courses and practical tips to make their search for a job more efficient, more motivated, more focused and more successful.
