Minder Mobielen Centrale - purchase of wheelchair accessible vehicle (BE)

The Minder Mobielen Centrale and its voluntary drivers offer people with low income and limited mobility opportunities to travel, which helps them escape social isolation and combat loneliness. This group is usually made up of the elderly, people with disabilities or people living on a low income who don't own cars and can’t afford a taxi. In most cases, trips are made in the volunteers’ cars; however, to help people in wheelchairs, the Minder Mobielen Centrale has a wheelchair accessible vehicle. After years of intensive use though, it’s time for their wheelchair accessible vehicle to be replaced.
