Pleegzorg West-Vlaanderen provides daily support to children, youths and adults with a disability and who are in need of a new home for a short or long period of time. Whether it be for a short or long period, support, treatment or crisis care, they can respond quickly in the various situations where a foster family is needed. In addition to counselling, foster children are also provided with intensive therapy. Therapy rooms, created specifically for this purpose, can be used for both play therapy and for receiving visitors. The rooms are designed to meet the children’s needs and provide them with a safe environment for therapy, chaperoned visits and self-development. Pleegzorg West-Vlaanderen will also be creating these special rooms in Bruges, Roeselare and Ypres.
