Reddingsorganisatie Vlaanderen trains dogs and handlers to become SAR (Search & Rescue) teams that can be deployed to help find missing people. Together with their handlers, the dogs learn to search for and identify victims, both alive and dead. Experienced and certified instructors teach the courses using dog-friendly, positive methods. Support from the Alpro Social Fund would be used to purchase materials and rent training facilities for training the SAR teams.
