St Benedicts Infant School is a local primary school in Birmingham, registered as a WWF Green Ambassadors school. The school is in a deprived area. The children are heavily involved in growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables, although have very little growing space, tools and resources to do this. The children are also learning about the importance of healthy eating and environmental benefits of plant-based eating.
The financial help of the Social Fund would allow the school to provide children with all the tools, compost, seeds and equipment they need to grow a super crop year on year.
