All financial and material support provided to these social causes always benefits the children, young people and parents supported by these organisations. Examples include: Providing Saint Nicholas presents, investing in child-friendly and safe sports and play infrastructure, purchasing bicycles,... .
The digital advance is ubiquitous these days and plays an increasingly prominent role in the lives of children and young people. Therefore, we have a responsibility to also support these vulnerable youth in growing into media savvy citizens. By no means all youngsters in the provision get the opportunity to purchase a laptop through school, or get the necessary support from home. With additional laptops/tablets in the living groups, young people will have more opportunities to make their school tasks or take online courses, build their network and social contacts.
