Communication tools to reach target audience

Zorgcirkels Jongdementie was set up to support people with early onset dementia and their carers, family and friends. The organisation offers individual, emotional and practical assistance, from diagnosis, living at home and later in a residential care home, until after the end of life. This makes such a difference to the lives of all involved.  

To reach these people better, they want to invest more in communication material. For example by distributing brochures to all doctors and neurologists so that they can make referrals, but also by further developing the website with more information, making the agenda more visible through various channels and developing a physical, specialised library for people with young dementia and their informal carers.

With the support of the Danone Social Fund, they invested in a library. They bought books around the problematic so people with young dementia, family carers, relatives and volunteers can read more about it. Now they can not only refer to the information, but they can also make it available for them.
